Back in 2004 I wrote this blog like a personal diary so family and friends from around the world could share and participate in my trip to conduct intensive instructor training in the United Arab Emirates for the Higher Colleges of Technology. I hope you enjoy a very personal slice of life from a very crucial time period in the middle east. I continue to have hopes that our work will be a part of improving the lives of men and especially women in the middle east.
To start, click on map to enlarge and get a good idea of where it all took place. The posts are in chronological order, so continue scrolling to whatever entries look interesting, or scroll ALL the way down to start at the beginning.
Note there are links to short audio files within many of the entries--they really help give a flavor of "where it's at." There are also links to photo albums on the left, and if you click on the cover picture of a photo album, it will open up a new screen of photos. Click on the first one to enlarge it, then use the "next" link on the photo page to see the rest. Many photos have captions. When you want to go back to the main blog text, at the upper left of the photo album screens you'll find a rollover to click-- "facultytraining.typepad.com".
When you're done and want to return to the main facultytraining.net website, use the link on the left under "Return Link." And if you feel like adding a comment there are "comment" links at the end of every posting--please be my guest. I'll be automatically notified of your comments...Enjoy!

What I wish most when thinking about visiting UAE is the Yas Island. I've heard it's amazing. Moreover, I'm a Ferrari passionate, so this is the place for me.
